Africa, South America or Asia

Two months of time in summer to realize a dream I have had for a long time. Taking a backpack and exploring a new continent and a different culture without any time pressure and a definite plan what to see. Deciding from day to day what to do or where to go. After talking to a lot of people who did something like this almost everybody recommended Southeast Asia. Good infrastructure to travel individually, lots of other travellers around, friendly people with an interesting culture and affordable for two months. So let´s do it! Of course there has to be some plan, so I have to keep talking to Asia experienced travellers where to go from July to September and check for traveller guides.
